She is survived by her husband, Jessie L. Evans of Starkville, MS; three sons: Cedric Tate (Catina), Jessie A. Stinson, and Mikobie Stinson all of Starkville, MS; a step-daughter, Willie D. Bell also of Starkville, MS; four sisters: Deborah M. Lawrence of Starkville, MS; Gloria S. Pearson and Annie Stinson of Milwaukee, WI; and Betty Mathes of Indiana; three brothers: Wayne McCarter (Minnie), Melvin McCarter (Betty) and Curtis Stinson all of Starkville, MS; 11 grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: James Evans (Thelma) and Ambus Evans both of Starkville, MS; two sisters-in-law: Annie L. Rice of Starkville, MS and Lodina Peterson of Shreveport, LA;
