Ms. Sarah Ann Austin

Sarah Ann Austin was born August 1, 1939 in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi to the late William Henry Austin and Lillie Weaver Austin. Sarah Ann confessed her love for Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Rockhill United Methodist Church until God called her home. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Mae Fair and Mae Willye Daniels. Sarah Ann attended Rockhill School and later worked for Magnolia Cleaners for 5 years. She was a loyal employee of the Starkville Public School District for 31 years. She worked at both Overstreet Elementary School and Sudduth Elementary School over the years. Faculty and staff of the school district enjoyed seeing her smile daily. They admired her integrity and work ethic. During this time, she also worked as a personal housekeeper for many families. Sarah Ann enjoyed caring for her family and others.
