He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Cynthia Ann Harris of Starkville, MS, Sandra Cross of Flint, MI, Donna Kerr (Aaron) of Kosciusko, MS; two sons, Arthur Tate Jr. and Fred Tate both of Starkville, MS; three sisters, Bertha Brown of Saginaw, MI, Celia Watkins and Susan Tate both of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Tommie Williams and Lavon Williams (Linda) both of Starkville, MS ; eleven grandchildren, Eric, Justin, Michael (Kristy) Mario, Latoya, Javorris, Dandra, Michael, Lashawn, Arthur III, and Alfred ; ten great- grandchildren; two very special friends, Rose Bell and King Hall; his adopted family, the Littles; and a host of other family members including his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
