He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Minor Brooks; two sons: Varick Brooks and Cedric Cannon; two daughters: Jemeica Arnold (Mendez) and Sheena Cannon all of Starkville, MS; Mother, Muggie Lee Brooks of Starkville, MS; five brothers: Broderick Brooks (Kassandra), Dexter Brooks (Shanita), and Anthony Brooks all of Starkville, MS; Randolph Brooks of Crawford, MS; K.L. Brooks (Cheryl) of Dallas, TX; and nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
