Upon his departure of this life he leaves behind to enjoy and cherish his memories: a beautiful and loving wife, Mrs. Kizzie S. Rogers; eight wonderful children: LaQuandria James of Artesia, MS, SanChez, San Toria, Devin and Daphne Porter, all of Columbus, MS, Tyler J. Rogers (San Diego, CA), Jairus Fair, Jakobee Lucious, and W.J.Davis, all of Starkville, MS; his mother: Mrs. Lilly Mae Rogers of Artesia, MS; two brothers: Johnny L. (Marie) Payne of San Diego, CA and Willie (Kathy) Clay of Artesia, MS; three sisters: Sharon, Honey Shedoran and Paula Rogers, all of Artesia, MS; other brothers: Victor Halbert, Maurice Nance, Eddie Hendrick, and Victor Swanigan; loving mother-in-law, Mrs. Clottie Harrington & sister-in-law, TiQuanna Lucious both of Starkville, MS; nine grandchildren; an array of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a very best friend Leon (Dutt) Phillips.
