He is survived by his sisters: Carrie Hines (Robert Hines), Emma Austin (L. C. Austin), Betty Watson (the late John Watson) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Gloria Skipper, Denise Akins (Charles Akins), and Renee Kennard (Victor Kennard) and brothers: Howard Elliott of Killeen, Texas, Willie Martin Elliott (Betty Elliott), Glenn Elliott (Wanda Elliott) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Earl Elliott. As well as a host of nieces and nephews.
