Tate; his mother, Della Tate of Starkville, MS; his children: Danina Tate of Houston, TX; Darae Tate, Jessica Tate, Gerri Tate, Jr. of Starkville, MS; and Crystal Pierce of Jasper, TX; seven siblings: John L. tate, Sr., Lana Johnson (Dennis), Llwelyn Tate (Rose), Ronald Tate, Jarvis Tate, Danny Tate (Phyllis) and Tanya Rice (Leo).
