He is survived by his wife, Goldia Mae Burchfield of Maben, MS; seven children: Deborah Jean Pruitt (Mayor Larry Pruitt) of Maben, MS; Gay Burchfield (Theodus) of Austell, GA; Christie Ross (Ronald), Greta Kay Bryant (Darell-Alderman of Maben), Jessie James Burchfield, Jr. Richard Earl Burchfield (Joyce Ann) all of Maben, MS; Patrick O'Neal Burchfield of Jackson, MS; two sisters: Sally mae Sharp of St. Louis, MO; Margie Jane Johnson of Maben, MS; one God daughter, Patricia Miller 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
