Larnzy leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Betty; two daughters Patricia A. Gardner (Charles Edward); Martha J. Smith (Robert), two sons Larnzy L. Carpenter Jr. (Melita), Bruce Carpenter (Vanessa) of Atlanta, Georgia. He leaves 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three brothers: R.L. Carpenter (Laurine), Robert Carpenter of Chicago, Illinois, Eddie Carpenter (Doris) of Indianola, Mississippi; five sisters, Inella James, Ethel Shine, Nettie McCoy, Shirley Mack (McKinley) of Indianola, MS, and Henrietta Harvey (W.C.) of Indianola, MS. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
