Mrs. Lizzie Mae Brown Ward

She leaves to cherish her loving memories of her 11 children: Darnell (Charles) Fisher, Carl Jr. (Sandra) Ward, Janice (Thomas) Hogan, Ree Southward, Gerry (Sallie) Ward, Thurman (Lillian) Ward, Jacqueline Skinner, Brandon (Brenda) Ward, Roy Ward, Patricia Ward Johnson, and Natalie Ward of all Starkville Mississippi and Courtney Ward( a great granddaughter raised as her own) She also shared a special bond with Charlie (Debbie) Henderson, whom she always called her other children. Lizzie Mae was known for her generous heart and nurturing spirit. She lovingly raised several bonus children as her own, including Betty Ashford, Dennis (Abby) Ward, and Debra Gail Ward. She is survived by three of her siblings, Bobbie (Billy) Watt, Benny Brown, and Martha Jean Brown. She is also survived by her beloved sisters-in-law, Nella, Annie Ruth, Lilly Mae, Catherine Brown, Anna Dell, and Louise along with 32 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
