She is survived by one son, Tommie Nichols of Sturgis, MS; four daughters: Ella Duck, Brenda Halbert, Sandra Houston and Linda Houston all of Starkville, MS; a step-daughter, Betty McDowell of Starkville, MS; two sisters: Bertha Mae Walker of Starkville,MS; and Mary Rainey of Chicago, IL; 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren.
