Mary Ethel Wilkes, 89, died January 4, 2014 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She is survived by a daughter, Margie Wilkes of Harper Woods, MI; a son, Norman J. Wilkes of Detroit, MI; one brother, Paul Bell of Detroit, MI; five sisters: Essie Quinn and Joe Ester Bell of Detroit, MI; Sue Loggins of Washington, D.C., Mozell Carter of Bellfontaine, MS; and Pastor Bessie Gibbs of Eupora, MS;
