McLester "Peter" Hollingshed, 58, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at his residence in Starkville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at First Baptist Longview Church in Starkville with Pastor Larnzy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Longview Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-6 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at West Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hollingshed of Starkville, MS; two daughters: Mia Amos and Celeste Hollingshed both of Starkville, MS; five sisters: Maxine McGee, Nancy Keys, both of Sandusky, OH; Ann Hollingshed, Veronica Duncan both of Starkville, MS; and Gloria A. Moore of Milwaukee, WI; five brothers: Joe Edwards, William Hollingshed both of Memphis, TN; Roy Hollingshed of Jeffersonville, IN; Clifton Hollingshed of Starkville, MS and Stanford Hollingshed of West Point, MS; and five grandchildren. West Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
