Ms. Minnie Lee

Mother Minnie Lee was born May 6, 1936 to the late Columbus and Clara Williams Lee. She was the eighth of nine children. She confessed Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was a member at New Light United Methodist Church where she served as a church helper for many years. In 1990 Ms. Lee declared her membership at Peter’s Rock Temple Church of God and Christ, where she served faithfully on the Mother’s Board until her health failed. On Tuesday July 14, 2015 she went to be with the Lord, ending her earthly life and beginning her eternal life. She leaves to cherish her memories one nephew, that she raised as her son, Johnny Lee (Daphanie) of Starkville, MS; two grand nephews; Jonathan Lee and Jacob Lee; and two grand nieces, Tiesha Lee and Savannah Lee. Ms. Minnie Lee was preceded in death by her brothers, Christopher Lee, Willie Lee, Israel Lee, Tom Lee, Tommy Lee, James (Jimmy) Lee, and Jerry Lee; and one and only sister Mother Emma Lee.
