Miss Angela Denise Davis

Miss Angela Denise Davis was born April 26, 1976 in Eupora, Mississippi. She departed this life on November 12, 2014 in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jermaine Davis; an aunt, Linda Betts and an uncle, Harnes Stewart, Jr. Angela graduated with honors from East Webster High School in 1994. She attended Mississippi State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Because of her love for children and a desire to teach, she returned to Mississippi State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She taught third grade at Overstreet Elementary and Henderson Ward-Stewart Elementary in Starkville, Mississippi for several years until her health began to decline. She loved her students and always wanted them to strive toward greatness. While at Ward Stewart Elementary, Angela and her third grade class received the highest MCT2 (Mississippi Curriculum Test 2) Math scores in the entire school. In her spare time she would tutor...
