Mozella Robinson Williams was born on December 13, 1951, to the late Jimmie Lee Robinson and Jessie Lee Robinson of Starkville, Mississippi. She was the sixth of fourteen children born to this union.
Mozella embraced Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age at Pine Grove Church Holiness U.S.A. She later united with Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and subsequently with Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful and devoted member. Her Christian service included leading songs in the church choir and serving as president of the Church Mother Board Ministry. In 2025, she reunited with her community church, Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained until her passing. She worked tirelessly to help others in whatever capacity she could. She was the epitome of love.
Mozella graduated from Starkville High School in 1971. She continued her education at Mississippi Valley State University, East Mississippi Community College, and Mary Holmes College. She later retired from Weavexx in 2015.
Mozella and Joe began their beautiful love story while in high school, a journey that spanned 57 years. On February 17, 1976, they were united in holy matrimony in Belton, Texas, while Joe was serving in the United States Army. Their marriage was blessed with love, commitment, and devotion. From this union, two loving children were born: Lekeshia and Tarvis Tivon Williams.
Mozella departed this life on December 20, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie Lee Robinson and Jessie Lee Robinson; her son, Tarvis Williams; her grandson, Christopher William Jarrett; one beloved sister, Estella Harris; and four brothers, Larry Robinson, Jimmie Robinson, Eddie Robinson, and Frederick Robinson.
