Mr. Michael Allen Jenkins

Michael A. Jenkins, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on November 5, 1950, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Dorothy and Harold Jenkins. Michael is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harold Jenkins Jr. He is survived by his wife, Lorene, siblings; Donnie (Gerald), DeeDee (Geraldine), David, Tina (Jennifer), Vicky, and Kenny. As well as his loving children; Nicole & Dave, Shade & Fereshta, Shezerae & Tramell, Adrian & Michelle, Sarah & Jeremiah. Along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was also a cherished Papa to his 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. Michael served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1975. After his service, he began a long and fulfilling career at Hill Air Force Base, where he worked from 1976 until 1989.
