He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving and devoted wife Bennie Gillespie; one son: Ray Charles Gillespie of Starkville, MS; one brother: John (Thelma) Bell of St. Louis, MO; one step-son: Jason Williams of Memphis, TN; one step-daughter: Ronda Williams of Starkville, MS; three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren, and six step-grandchildren; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
