He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Cecelia Ashford of Starkville, MS; a son, Gabriel Ashford (Chanetta) and three grandchildren: Denim, Christian and Roman Ashford all of Geismar, LA; his siblings: Margie Peters, Bertha Bush, Verteen Flowers (Bert Lee), Herman Ashford (Louise) and Ervin Ashford all of Starkville, MS and Shirley Collier (Harvest) of Collierville, TN; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, one aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
