He is survived by his children: Earnestine Brown, Michelle Jefferson, Vera Poe, Linda Jones, and Calvin Young; 11 grand children and nine great grandchildren. Four sisters, Julia Duncan, Annie Rice and Bulia Perry, and Julia Shelton; three brothers: N.H. Brown, Eddie Brown, and Micheal Brown; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
