Mr. Walter C. Lawrence

Mr. Walter C. “Walt C” Lawrence was born to Solomon Lawrence and Laura B. Miller Lawrence on November 4, 1937. He was educated in the Oktibbeha County School System and graduated from Rock Hill High School. Bro. Lawrence loved and spent years gardening. He kept a freezer full of home-grown vegetables, evidence of the fruits of his labor. He was also very adamant about cutting his own lawn. He didn’t trust anyone with his lawnmower until he could no longer cut it himself. He enjoyed watching sports and his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers. In his later years, he enjoyed life, relaxing and spending quality time with Chris. Bro. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Delsie Peterson Miller.
