Mr. Tommie C. Rice

On the morning of Friday, September 13, 2019, God with His divine love reached down from heaven and picked one of his most beautiful and precious flowers from his garden, Tommie C. Rice. Tommie was born September 18, 1941 in Starkville, MS to Dan Henry, Sr. and Celia Rice both whom preceded him in death. He confessed Christ at an early age. On March 26, 1966, he married the love of his life, Ms. Thelma Edwards. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Thelma Edwards Rice of Starkville, MS; a son, Tommie L. Rice (Gloria) of Olive Branch, MS; four daughters: Nanette Davis of Chicago Heights, IL; Doris Duckworth of Grand Rapids, MI; Beverly Ray and Patricia Robinson both of Starkville, MS; Five sisters: Fannie Williams of Chicago, IL; Cara Thompson (Luther), Betty Baker (David), Cecelia Ashford (Harvey), and Elizabeth Wadlington (Kevin) all of Starkville, MS; six brothers: Sammie Rice, Edward Rice, Robert Rice, Aaron Rice, Vernon Rice, and Melvin Rice all of Starkville, MS; one aunt,...
