He leaves to cherish a loving wife, Verlene Johnson; four daughters: Vicky White Wallick, Ronald Walter, Rona Ann Walter, and Ora Ware; two sons: Walter Collins and Charles Walter; three stepdaughters: Keisha (Greggory) Warren, Sharon (Tommy) Jordan, Likim Jordan all of Starkville, MS; two stepsons: LaMarcus Jordan and Derrick Jordan of Starkville, MS; 24 grandchildren and 3 great grands; one sister: Helen (Erusia) Culpepper of Maben, MS; five brothers: Jessie Johnson of South Fulton, TN; Frank (Melissa) Johnson of Trenton, TN; Walter (Shanta) Johnson of Jackson, TN; Leroy Johnson of Verona, MS; Eddie Johnson of Humboldt, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
