He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving wife, Betty Turnipseed; two daughters: Lukeisha Lowery (Samuel) of Sellersburg, IN and Kimberly Turnipseed Peterson of Starkville, MS; five sons: Derrick Sherman (Deanna) of Chicago, IL; LaSavin Turnipseed (Letha) of Starkville, MS; Sharod Miller of West Point, MS; Keevin Turnipseed and Mario Turnipseed both of Starkville, MS; fifteen grandchildren, three sisters: Ella Jefferson (Charles) of Starkville, MS; Tanya White (Tony) of Saltillo, MS; and Shirley Watson of Starkville, MS; six brothers: Michael Watson (Darla) of Sunwanee, GA; Mark Watson (Latrese) of Murfreesboro, TN; Harold Watson (Kim) of Houston, TX; Demerick Watson of Jackson, MS; Aaron Shelton (Kimbreca) of San Antonio, TX; Demond Shelton (Sheleta) of West Point, MS; one brother-in-law, Wayne Powers of Starkville, MS; also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
