He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Brenda Akins (Walter) of Starkville, MS; three nieces: Janice Newsome, Sandra Beal (Jerome) and Roberta Turner; one nephew, Eddie Turner Jr. (Lexann) all of Birmingham, AL; one granddaughter, Stephanie Hendrix (Tommy); four grandsons: Deon Baker, Jermaine Snell (Ebonee) Kelsye Akins and Kasey Akins; eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Sara Smith and Sadie Miller all of Starkville, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
