He leaves to his memories, his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Thelma Evans of Starkville, MS; two daughters, Stacy Young (Willie) and Carolette Evans both of Starkville, MS; one son, James Evans, Jr. of Starkville, MS; three loving granddaughters, Mikeshia Mobley and Jaleesa Mobley both of Starkville, MS; Alicia Evans of Aberdeen, MS; his loving grandson, Octavious "Mone" Paschal of Starkville, MS; one sister, Lodina Peterson of Shreveport, LA; one brother, Jessie Evans of Starkville, MS; one aunt, Ruby Turner of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
