He is survived by his wife, Eddie Dean Harris; his son, James Roshun Harris of Starkville, MS; his daughters: Tarsha Shereta Gibson (Marlon) of Memphis, TN, Linnell Rice-Henderson (John) of Brandon, MS, Jessica Briana Harris of Starkville, MS; his brother Selven Smith, Jr. (Harriet) of Fort Worth, TX; special cousin, Alfreda Harris (Clifton) of Nashville, TN; step-father, Arthur Miller of Starkville, MS; six grandchildren: Paisley Jonai Henderson, Kristin Celes Rice, Veronica Marie Gibson, Laila Alexandria Henderson, Johnathan Wes Henderson; Gabrielle Alyse Harris; one great-grandchild, Sarhabi Rose Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
