Mr. Luther James Skinner

Luther James Skinner affectionately known as “Poo Nanny” was born March 22, 1952 to the late Luther and Velma Skinner. He departed this life October 14, 2022 in Columbus, MS. He was self employed and helped anyone who needed work done in the community. He loved to sing, whistle and hum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Velma Skinner; six brothers: Marvin, Tony, Andrew, Reginald, Wayne and Travis; one sister, Linda. He leaves to cherish his memories; one daughter, Laurie Powers of Fort Wayne, IN; four grandchildren: Temeka Thomas, NaTaysha Tonker, Desmon Powers, and Phillip Barnes; five great grandchildren: William, Mykaile, Britt, Lyric, Demin Thomas and Zaria White; two loving aunts: Brenda Perkins (Dorsey) and JoAnn Thompson; two sisters-in-law: Jackie Skinner and Mamie Beckum; one brother-in-law, Clinton Henderson; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
