Mr. Sylvester Williams

Brother Sylvester “Shakie” Williams was born May 15, 1937 in Memphis, TN to Enick Williams and Nancy Robinson. Brother Sylvester attended the Manassas High School in Memphis and graduated in 1954. He also served in the Navy four years as a Navy Veteran. Bro. Sylvester peacefully went home to be with God on July 16, 2021 at Starkville Manor Nursing Home Starkville, MS. Upon him relocating to Starkville , MS over 15 years ago he joined the Mount Peiler M. B. Church. He later joined Beth-el M. B. Church over 10 years ago under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Lee E. Brand Jr. He remained a very dedicated member of Beth-el M. B. Church until his death. Brother Sylvester was preceded in death by his father and mother. He leaves to cherish his memories; two very close friends, Brother Willie Harris and Brother Roy Young, who took very good care of him and made sure he got to church.
