He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Turner, two children: Sherbet Williams (Jerome) and Derrick M. Turner of Starkville, MS; one sister, Georgia Inez Turner Rush of Starkville, MS; one brother, Art Turner (Cherry) of Fort Wayne, IN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
