He leaves to cherish his memories, four children: Tereatha Buchanan-Davis of Dallas, TX; Kapus Brown of Flint, MI; Jonissa Buchanan and Jocitta Buchanan of Starkville, MS; granddaughters: Deja Lester of Dallas, TX; Ashanti (Sedalia) Davis and Valencya Davis both of San Antonio, TX; great-grandchildren: Arianna and Marcello Davis of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by three sisters: Lena (Henry) Thomas of Tampa, FL; Rosie (Carl) Collie of Southaven, MS and Callie Buchanan of Columbus, MS; six brothers: Sammy (Debra) Buchanan, Andrew Buchanan, Jessie (Tamara) Buchanan, Johnny Buchanan, Jesse James all of Columbus, MS and James W. (Michele) Buchanan of Jackson, MS; Godmother and cousin: Cellie Harris of Flint, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends.
