Upon departing this earthly life, she leaves to cherish her memories; her children: Dennis Spearmon of Crawford, MS and Quiten Carter of Crawford, MS whom she raised as her own son; Kasey Tucker of Kankakee, IL, Paul (Kelly) Tucker of Columbus, MS and Gloria (Delector) Kennedy of KankaKee, IL; her sisters: Helen Akins, Lula Akins, Brenda Thomas & Lena Evans all of Starkville, MS, Stella (Elmo) Bibbs of Brooksville, MS; her brothers: Michael (Demetris) Evans, Willie Evans, Fredrick (Donna) Akins, & Charles (Denise) Akins all of Starkville, MS, and Viakar Akins of Brooksville, MS; her sisters-in-law: Mattie Parker, Annie (Wayne) Sherman & Julia (Hal) Williams all of Starkville, MS, and Vera Tucker of Chicago, IL; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, along with her special daughter, Debra Rogers of Columbus, MS.
