Born October 22, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, Eleanora—affectionately known by her family as Squeege — was the cherished daughter of Reverend Edward and Bernice Favors. She spent her early years in Illinois and later made lasting memories in both Mississippi and California.
Eleanora lived a life overflowing with love and guided by a deep, unwavering faith in God that touched every part of her journey. She gave of herself freely, always at the heart of support and strength for those around her, especially her beloved children, Magruder Jr., Brian, and Toriyanna. Her commitment to her community shone through in countless ways, most memorably through her home-cooked meals that nourished not just the body but the soul, leaving all who tasted them feeling her warmth and care. Eleanora’s beautiful smile and kind spirit lit up every room, and she found so much joy in live music, often dancing with the same grace and joy that defined her life.
