Mrs. Irene Ireland

Mrs. Irene Ireland, age 87, made her transition January 18, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. Mrs. Ireland, formerly of Crawford, Mississippi, was born September 22, 1925 in Crawford, Mississippi. She was the daughter of Ellis and Lou Ellis Rice. Irene was a devoted mother and grandmother who confessed her belief in Christ at an early age and throughout her life remained steadfast in her faith, and encouraged others to seek out the Lord and develop a relationship with Christ. Irene enjoyed gardening, listening to her favorite gospel hymns and studying the lessons of the Bible.
