Mrs. Catherine J. Johnson

Catherine Johnson was born on January 21, 1947, in Starkville, MS to Warren and Ethel Johnson, both of whom preceded her in death. She attended Henderson High School where she graduated in 1965. She was united in holy matrimony to Luther Thompson in 1966. From that union three children were born. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Blackjack M.B. Church while living in Starkville. She was employed by Prairie Opportunity and then moved on to Mississippi State University where she remained until she left Mississippi. In 1992, She moved to Manhattan, KS and then moved to Blue Island, IL where she lived until she retired. She gained her heavenly wings on January 7, 2023, at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital in Palos Heights, IL.
