Mrs. Annie Leacher Young

Annie Leacher Young was born to Bobby R. Fields and Nellie B. Fields in Oktibbeha County on July 19, 1963. Annie’s life of faith began at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, the church of her youth, where she confessed Christ as her Savior. She was a member of the Springhill choir and traveled with the choir until she graduated from Starkville High School in 1982. Annie’s youth and holidays were spent living, playing and fellowshipping among a countless array of relatives: parents, grandparent, siblings, cousins, uncles, and aunts. Family meant everything to her. Adulthood brought many changes to Annie’s life. She married Joe Young in 1989, then gave birth to her son, Braxton on March 29, 1993. She repented of her sins, was baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost in June 1993.
