Mother Helen Lee (Wilson) Williams was born October 25, 1932 in Doddsville, MS, to the late James, Sr. and Zenobia (Davis) Wilson. She was the first born of four children. Her siblings, James, Jr., Jesse, and Willie Ruth have preceded her in death. She received her formal education at Delta Industrial Institute in Doddsville, MS. She later accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
At a young age, she met and married a young military veteran named, B.J. Williams on June 23, 1958. This was the beginning of a strong and inseparable union that would last for over 33 years. Through this union, four children were born. Her doting and caring nature towards her husband and children was always admired.
Although she committed her life to Christ at a young age, she continued this commitment working alongside her husband as he served in ministry, pastored several churches, and served as the superintendent of District #7. She faithfully assisted her husband in ministry as the First Lady of Belmont C.O.G.I.C....
