She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Peiler M.B. Church located in Starkville, MS and Bethel M.B. Church later in life, where she served until her death.
She attended Starkville High School in Starkville, MS.
She was employed at City of Starkville Parks and Recreation as a motor pool operator until her retirement. She continued working after retirement as a home health aide and McDonald’s cook.
During her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her bingo family. She loved to travel and vacationed in Washington State multiple times, where she made more bingo friends.
