Mrs. Arnice Maria Sheehy Townsel

Arnice Maria (Sheehy) Townsel was born in Gary, Indiana on July 1, 1960 to Milton and Irene Sheehy. She was a 1978 graduate of Gary West Side High School. She accepted Christ at a young age. She was a member of Josey Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene (Washington) Sheehy; father, Milton Sheehy Jr., and son, Anthony Deon Sheehy. On January 10, 2024, Arnice entered into eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ozell Townsel; son, Ernest (Taquinca) Sheehy; step-daughters: LaDonna (Donell) Doss, Tikita Townsel and Dina Townsel; brothers, Anthony Sheehy, and Dwayne Sheehy; sisters, Dorthea (Clay)Knox and Rosalind (George) Irby; grand-children: Jaleen Sheehy, Sequoyia Sheehy, Tiquaum Sheehy, Taniyah Sheehy, Alexis Sheehy and Alisha Sheehy; five great grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
