Maxine (Spencer) McGee, 79, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday morning, January 8, 2024, unexpectedly at home.
Maxine was born on October 26, 1944, in Starkville, MS to the late Jack Hollingshed and Ella Belle (Spencer) Hollingshed.
Maxine worked for Providence Hospital in the dietary department, then was employed at Firelands Regional Medical Center in housekeeping where she retired after forty-five years of service. In retirement, she continued to work for Progressive Cleaning. Maxine was a member of Porter's Memorial Church. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, traveling, gardening, helping others, and an avid Steelers fan, her greatest joy was her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
