Gandy (Powell) of Starkville, MS; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Charles Buckhalter; two sisters: Annie Thomas (Earnest) of Southaven, MS and Shirley Wilson (Jessie) of St. Paul, MN; seven brothers: Dero Young Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; Walter James Young of St. Paul, MN; Lucious Young (Julia) of Crawford, MS; Elbert Young (Mary) of Crawford, MS; Tyrone Young ( Georgette) of Fort Mill, SC; Roger Young (Vanessa) of West Point, MS; and Ricky Young (Mary) of Columbus, MS; one uncle, Mr. George Young Jr. (Pearl) and one aunt, Pauline Brooks (R.L.) both of Starkville, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
