Ms. Marilyn Harris

Marilyn Harris was born July 1, 1958, to the late Ida Lee and Irving Harris. Marilyn was the 3rd oldest of 10 children. Marilyn attended BL Moor Attendance Center and later decided to start her journey to become a cosmetologist. Marilyn attended Harris School of Cosmetology in Chicago, IL. She later began working as a warehouse worker until her death. Marilyn accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She later joined Josey Creek Missionary Baptist Church and remained a member until her death. Marilyn leaves to cherish her memories; her children: Loletha Harris (Gulfport, MS), Lekecha Harris (Ackerman, MS), and Tamika Harris (Horn Lake, MS); her siblings: John Page (Starkville, MS), Hattie Phillips (Milwaukee, WI), Rosie Rice (Chicago, IL), Martha Harris (Starkville, MS), Dennis (Sherry) South Carolina, Terry Harris (Starkville, MS), Gene Harris (Starkville, MS), and Deloris Harris (Brookhaven, MS); 8 grandchildren,1 great grandchild ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins...
