She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Rev. K.L. Brooks of Dallas, TX; and Dexter (Shaneeta) Brooks of Starkville, MS; one son followed her in death: Broderick Brooks (10/26/2021); twenty-one grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
