Mr. Robert L. Rice

Robert Lewis was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a graduate of Mary Holmes College and B.L. Moor High School. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Helen Rice of Starkville; children LaDonna Owens of Starkville, Tunisa Rice and Kimberly Rice both of Houston, TX; his mother, Bertha Rice of Starkville; one brother Eugene Rice (Roberta) of Cincinnati Ohio; two maternal sisters Gloria Rice-Larry and Diane Stallings both of Starkville; two paternal sisters Teresa Rice and Cathy Rice of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren Tyrique, Zalei, and Maddox all of Houston, TX; his aunt Joe Ella Jackson of St. Louis, MO and uncles Thomas Outlaw and Jessie Stallings both of Starkville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by: his father, Rogers Lewis Rice, Jr.; maternal grandparents Matthew & Grenada Outlaw-Stallings; paternal grandparents Minister Rogers Rice, Sr. & Mary Alice “Lady” Rice and sister Doretha Rice.
