He is survived by his wife; Fannie Yates of Eupora, MS; his children: Robert E. Yates of Chicago, IL; step son, Thomas Evans, Jr. of Mathiston, MS; Perry Yates of Mathiston, MS, Huey L. Yates of Eupora, MS, Robert Allen (Joanna) Yates of Detroit, MI, Gabriel Yates of Louisville, KY, Chris (Josslyn) Yates of Detroit, MI, two daughters: Windy (Kenneth) Robinson of Cincinnati, OH and Nona K. Rutledge of Detroit, MI, forty seven grandchildren; fifty five great grandchildren; one great great grand child, adopted child, TOTO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
