He is survived by his wife, Mistie L. Dawson; two sons: Ashton D. Dawson and Jaylen D. Dawson all of Texas; three brothers: Ty Ngozi Dawson (Wanda) of Atlanta, GA; Tony Dawson (Sarah) of Starkville, MS; Christopher C. Dawson (Veronica) of West Point, MS; four sisters: Brenda M. Dawson, Lisa Dawson and Verna L. Dawson of Starkville, MS; and Elizabeth Dawson of Chicago, IL; his grandmother, Mother Birdie Bishop; five nephews: Joshua A. Dawson, Bryce T. Brown, Johnathan D. Orr; Braylen Dawson; and Tahj D. McKee; eight nieces: Latoya Triplett (James), Kimberly Dawson, Chanissa Dawson, Zuri Dawson, Markietta D. Ferguson, Kie Dawson, Krystian C. Dawson, Miah Dawson and Nakyi Dawson.
