He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Mary Patton Madison; his children: Russell (Wilma) Madison, (Starkville, MS), Stanley (Jannette) Madison (Noxapater, MS), Travis Madison (Houston, TX), Cynthia (Melvin) Young (Jackson, MS), Cathy (the late Byron) Bishop (Starkville, MS), Brenda (Derrick) Anderson (Jackson, MS) and one adopted daughter Yulonda Austin (Starkville, MS);11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis Madison (St. Louis, MO), Nash (Mary) Madison (Jackson, MS); and two sisters, Pearl Jones (Jackson, MS) and Lois Lowery (St. Louis, MO).
