He is survived by his wife, Inez Evans; one daughter, Keshia Evans; seven brothers: Marion Evans (Lynette), Sammie Evans, Wayne McCarter (Minnie), Aaron Evans, Jura Evans (Brenda), Melvin Evans (Betty) and Harry Evans; six sisters: Patricia Evans (Jessie), Lillie Christian, Deborah McCarter, Sheila Hubbard (William), Maudfend Evans, and Zelma Evans.
