Wade began his formal education at Oktibbeha County Training School (OCTS), Starkville, Mississippi, later graduating from W.C. Henderson High School. During his high school years, he participated in the band, playing first trumpet. Wade loved his classmates. The Class of 1962 is a close-knit group, and has remained friends and continue to fellowship until this present day.
Mr. McGee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi. Later, he worked on his Master’s Degree at California State University. He was a “Master Mathematician”, often helping others with his knowledge of math. He began his first teaching career in Picayune, Mississippi. He later taught school in the Public School Systems of Los Angeles, California; Las Vega, Nevada; and Denver, Colorado.
