He leaves to cherish his memory Shyrl Lynn Tillman, his devoted wife of 27 years; one daughter, Tonia Brown; two sons, CJ Ferguson and Walter Carl Tillman Jr.; six grandchildren and a god daughter. He also leaves four brothers: Tracy (Juanita) Tillman, Tony (Monique) Tillman, Johnny (Tina) Gaston Jr. and Stan Matthews and two sisters: Joyce Washington and Gavis Mosley and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
